Tax and other Incentives

At the date this discussion was written, many Grant and Rebate programs had been researched and verified. Because of the amount of Government interest in renewable energy, more are being announced on a regular basis.

In Canada, and Ontario, there are significant tax benefits to investing in Renewable Energy projects.  The Hybridyne Group has invested in researching these benefits, and has hired one of Canada's pre-eminent tax-legal firms to write Letters of Opinion on how the tax laws apply to HPG's customers and investors.

As a 'byproduct' of this research, HPG Energy Parks are now registered as Tax Shelters - the Tax Shelter ID # will greatly aid your accountant in helping you receive all the tax incentives.

Simply put, in Canada, under sections 43.1 and 43.2 of the Income Tax Act, a Renewable Energy is eligible for a 100% tax writeoff on a 50% declining basis per year.  Ontario, and many other provinces, mirror this structure.
